Everything + The Spice Tuna

Ingredients
Tuna Steak:
2 fresh tuna (about 6 oz each, 1-inch thick)
2 tablespoons olive oil (plus extra for searing)
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
5 tablespoons Double Barrel BBQ Everything + the Spice Dry Rub
Instructions
Prepare the Tuna :
Pat the tuna dry with a paper towel.
Brush with olive oil and a splash of lemon or lime juice.
Coat the Tuna:
Press the tuna steaks into the Everything + the Spice Dry Rub, ensuring each side is evenly coated.
Sear the Tuna:
Heat a non-stick skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil.
Once the pan is hot, add the tuna steaks.
Sear for 1-2 minutes per side (depending on desired doneness).
For rare tuna: Sear quickly until the edges are golden but the center remains pink.
Rest and Serve:
Let the tuna rest for a minute before slicing.
Serve with Pickled Ginger & Wasabi.
Optional Add-ons:
Drizzle of tahini or lemon-garlic aioli for a creamy finish.
Top with microgreens or fresh cilantro for color and freshness.
Serve over a bed of mixed greens, rice, or alongside a refreshing avocado salsa!
